THE PROVO PIONEERS
The Provo Pioneers is a conceptual Major League Baseball branding project centered on identity creation and large-scale wayfinding design, creating during my time as a student at Catawba Valley Community College.
THE PITCH (no pun intended)
Developed in response to a prompt to place a professional sports team in an underserved market, I chose Utah—a region with demonstrated interest in expanding into professional baseball. The project aimed to build not only a compelling team identity, but also a fully immersive stadium experience.
MY ROLE
For this project, I worked completely independently to give the team their visual identity and developed detailed blueprints for signage systems, murals, and navigational graphics that guide fans seamlessly through the space, created using AutoCAD design software.
THE RESULTS
The final result is a complete team pitch deck for Major League Baseball, centered on the name, culture, and look of the team, as well as preliminary plans for a stadium and mockups of merchandise for the Provo Pioneers, which was later independently submitted for consideration to the Big League Utah Project, a coalition to bring Major League Baseball to the state.
